EZ Fast Zebrafish PCR Genotyping Kit is a new generation of genotyping kits which is designed for rapid extraction and amplification of genomic DNA from zebrafish tissues without DNA purification. With automated one-solution extraction, extraction of genomic DNA from animal tissue is as easy as pushing a start button.  No termination buffer is needed. There is no need for overnight digestion, Phenol/Chloroform extraction, and laborious DNA purification. Neither there is a requirement for use of expensive DNA spin columns. Most importantly of all, the consistent result from EZ Fast Zebrafish Genotyping Kit is unmatched by any other DNA extraction-based genotyping methods available in the market! The kit includes Tissue Lysis Solution A and B and 2X EZ PCR Ready Master Mix. The 2x EZ PCR Master Mix containing Taq polymerase and dNTPs is specially optimized for use with the extracted DNA. It also contains an inert red dye that allows direct loading of PCR products onto agarose gels without the addition of loading dye.

New Extraction Protocol

1) Add DNA Extraction Buffer to the Strip tube with a tail sample.

2) Place the strip tube in a thermocycler and start the extraction program

3) After 20-min, take out the strip tube and invert 5 times.

Extraction is done and genomic DNA is ready for PCR.
