EZ Fast Tissue/Tail Genotyping PCR Kit is a new generation of genotyping kits which is designed for rapid extraction and amplification of genomic DNA from various animal tissues without DNA purification. There is no need for overnight digestion, Phenol/Chloroform extraction and laborious DNA purification. Neither there is requirement for use of expensive DNA spin columns. Most importantly of all, the consistent result from EZ Fast Genotyping Kit is unmatched by any other DNA extraction-based genotyping methods available in the market! The kit includes Tissue Lysis Solution A and B and 2X EZ PCR Ready Master Mix. The 2x EZ PCR Master Mix Taq polymerase and dNTPs is specially optimized for use with the extracted DNA. It also contains an inert red dye that allows direct loading of PCR products onto agarose gels without addition of loading dye.
3-Easy Step Protocol:
1) A tail sample is incubated with the extraction buffer at 55oC for 10 mins.
2) The sample mixture is heated at 95 oC for 10 min.
3) An aliquot of the DNA extraction is mixed with a 2X EZ PCR Ready Master Mix and user-selected primers to amplify target DNA.

DNA was extracted from eight mouse tails and PCR amplification of the target genes was carried out using the EZ Fast Tissue/Tail PCR Genotyping Kit. Amplified DNA fragments (220 bp in lanes 1-8, 498 bp in lanes 1'-8' and 670 bp in 1"-8") were analyzed on a 2% agarose gel. M: 100 bp ladder.
