EZ Tissue/Cell Total RNA Mini Plus Kit is designed for purification of high quality total RNA from variety of mammalian tissues or cultured cells. The kit is designed based on selective binding of RNA to silica membrane in the presence of chaotropic salts. The contaminated genomic DNA is removed by DNase digestion. Any other impurities are removed by stringent washing steps. The purified RNA is eluted in RNase-Free Water. The kit eliminates the need for toxic organic extraction and time-consuming ethanol precipitation steps required in the other RNA purification methods. The purified RNA is virtually free of Genomic DNA contamination and is suitable for conventional RT-PCR, real time quantitative RT-PCR, northern blotting, RNase protection assay, RNA amplification for microarray analysis. |
