5X SDS Reducing Sample Buffer is used for loading protein samples onto the SDS-polyacrylamide gel. Because it is more concentrated as compared to the traditional 2X SDS sample buffer, the 5X SDS Reducing Sample Buffer allows more protein samples to be loaded into each well. 5X SDS Reducing Sample buffer contains DTT as the reducing agent. 5X SDS Reducing Sample Buffer contains 315 mM Tris pH 6.8, 50% Glycerol, 5% SDS, 100 mM DTT and 0.025% Bromophenol Blue.
