2X EZ Taq Red Master Mix

2X EZ Taq Red Master Mix is a pre-optimized and ready to use solution containing EZ Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTP, MgCl₂ and reaction buffer for efficient amplification of DNA templates by PCR. 2X EZ Taq Red Master Mix contains an inert dye that allows direct loading of PCR products onto agarose gels.

EZ Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase derived from thermophilic bacterium Thermus aqualicus. EZ Taq DNA Polymerase can amplify DNA target up to 5 kb. The Taq DNA Polymerase has 5 to 3 polymerase activity but lacks of 3 to 5 exonuclease activity that results in a 3-dA overhangs PCR products. The elongation velocity of the polymerase is 0.9-1.2 kb/min. The EZ Taq DNA Polymerase can be used for routine PCR cloning, DNA labeling and DNA sequencing.
