EZ Plasmid Miniprep Kit is a silica membrane based spin column format kit for isolating high quality plasmid DNA (up to 30 µg) from E. coli host strain in 10 min. The principle of the kit is based on alkaline/SDS lysis of bacteria cells followed by selective adsorption of plasmid DNA on silica membrane in the presence of high salt. Contaminants are removed by wash buffer and the plasmid DNA is eluted in Elution Buffer. The purified DNA can be used for any downstream molecular biology applications. |
